HiPP Goat – Preparation Instructions

1. Use freshly boiled for each of the baby’s meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 °C) before mixing with formula
2. Pour in 2/3 of the necessary amount of boiled water into a clean and sterilized
3. Use the scoop provided with your box of formula (note that spoon sizes vary by brand and even lot), add the correct number of leveled scoops of powder (1 leveled scoop of powder per 1oz / 30ml of water).
4. Close the bottle with the nipple and cap and vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
5. Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it
6. Cool to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 °C) and always test the temperature of the milk before feeding to avoid scalding or burning your little one

Please note:

• Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.
• Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer.
• Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftover feed.
• Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours if stored at room temperature. Bottles cooled with a cold ice pack should be used within 4 hours. Refrigerated bottles may be used for up to 24 hours.
• Microwaves heat unevenly! Do not microwave prepared feeds as heat spots may occur.
• Once opened, the formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.
